MORE ABOUT JAY

Born in Akron, and raised in Uniontown, Jay has always called Northeast Ohio home. After moving to Jackson Township as a teen, he graduated from high school and went on to attend both Walsh University and Hondros College where he achieved a strong academic foundation for his future in business and real estate. Jay now resides in Barberton with his wife and son.

Jay has been married for over 15-years, he is a devoted husband to his wife Reesa and father to his spirited son Jayce. During the winter months, you’re likely to find Jay at the ice rink cheering on his son’s ice hockey team, the Akron Canton Jets. Outside of hockey, the entire family shares a love for Halloween, Disney magic and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jay also enjoys looking for “treasures” at garage sales and the Hartville Flea Market as well as taking trips with the family to Amish Country whenever the busy pace of life slows down.

Jay and his son also bond over their shared love of Professional Wrestling—whether it's catching the latest WWE matches Monday and Friday nights on TV, or witnessing iconic moments live and in person, it's a connection that brings a lot of fun and excitement to their everyday life.

Jay spent over 19 years climbing the ladder of business with FirstEnergy Corp (Ohio Edison). Throughout his career he has taken on the roles of Quality Assurance Specialist, Business Analysts and Supervisor of Customer Care.  Jay has always put his focus on the customer, while supporting his employees, to build a career based on leadership, empathy, collaboration, dedication and professionalism.

Real estate runs in Jay’s blood—he’s a proud second-generation REALTOR®, following in the footsteps of his mother, Glenda, who had a remarkable 30-year career and was a valued salesperson at High Point Real Estate Group.
